About us
Linux14's main objective is to promote the deployment of Linux on desktops for home and professional users.
Although its market share is growing, it remains insufficient despite its many excellent qualities :
- open source and free
- robustness
- security
- performances
- flexibility
- usability
- lightweight
- growing simplicity
It's not for nothing that Linux already powers the vast majority of web servers, supercomputers, routers and network equipment, embedded devices, smartphones (Android) and video game consoles (Steam).
As hardware becomes increasingly compatible with Linux, a greater share of the desktop market will increasingly encourage software developers to follow suit, bringing the circle full circle.
